Actually, with a kind of ultra-modern, far-fetched, sci-fi twisted symbolism, this is very apropos. Rather poetic and metaphorical. (It used to be that we were the toast, Mexicans were the toaster–not now–plus the completely unrelated thing with the cell phone–maybe showing modern society–old and new ideas combined…)
Forget the Alamo. That war never should’ve been fought. All we did was steal land from Mexico, plain and simple. And then we have the nerve to call Mexicans who come to Texas, Arizona and New Mexico without documentation illegal immigrants.
